The Boat

We will do our fishing aboard a 2002 Action Craft Coastline 2110 center console fishing boat. We've got a 150 hp Mercury Optimax outboard, and a 80 lb-thrust Minn Kota 24-volt trolling motor for power. We'll find the fish and navigate with a Lowrance 337 DF chart plotter / GPS, and make our radio calls on a Standard Horizon DSC VHF radio. We'll also carry a personal locator beacon (plb), and a hand-held VHF radio for safety.

The boat is 21' 4" in length, and about 8 feet wide. It drafts in about 12 inches of water, so getting shallow is no problem. There's plenty of room to comfortably fish 4 anglers.
